KELTENN ~ Kelley of Tennessee

Jack Ward, over on Crackers Neck, likes a to grow a few sunflowers to brighten Nina's day. These are from a couple of years ago, this year's crop is just coming up.

About the site ~

Originally,  I bought this domain just so that, when some group of corporate idiots bought out some other group of corporate idiots, I didn't have to notify the entire mail list that my address had changed because the new people wanted to 'help me out'. However ~  finally - figured I might as well do something with the space.

So ~ Later I'll expand the left side and leave the paper on it's own but for now -

Pull up a chair, pour a little sweet tea and come visit the paper (PDF),  go to the paper,  www.badideanews.com (web site) or look around, below and left, for other options.

Other Avenues:

I''ll get there - I'll get there, I'm not as fast as you.

About those "other options":

Well, first, you can have the PDF mailed to you as an attachment each week if you let the editor know you'd like to have her do that. She's Barbara A. Dunn, a very nice lady - used to be a long haul truck driver, and her email address is badidea_news@embarqmail.com. Let her know you want it sent.

Second, you can pick up a copy of the Boone Trail Gazette on the last Thursday of the month at several places in and around Mountain City, Tennessee. You're not in Mountain City, Tennessee, you say? I don't quite know what to tell you. This isn't Time or The Washington Post. We don't have a subscription mailing  list, for Heaven's sake!             Why don't you plan to stop by Mountain City, Tennessee, some day? You can look around town, see the sights of Johnson County and pick up a copy of the Boone Trail Gazette. That last item, alone, should be worth a side trip of several hundred miles length.

About the Boone Trail Gazette:

The Boone Trail Gazette is the big brother, so to speak, of the B.A.D. Idea News (web) and BIN (PDF). Whereas the web site is a continually updated source and the PDF is a weekly newpaper containing the word for word content which went into that week's initial web site, the Boone Trail Gazette is a monthly newsmagazine with some of the web's and PDF's  items for the month reprinted, some summarized, some expanded upon and containing a few items of greater general interest that don't appear in the weekly publications at all. We are determined that the folks of Johnson County, Tennessee, will be nothing if not well informed.

If all else fails:

If, for some reason, you're just not going to email the editor (address, above) as you should, you can contact me directly at pete@keltenn.com. I'm not at all sure that will do any good but it's common to have someone to contact. Since this organization is not yet large enough to have a mid-level PR person to mishandle that function in the way that it seems so commonly mishandled these days, I'll just have to do. Looking forward to hearing from you ~ PSK
